Report what the app gets wrong
Send a bug or a translation defect through the channels below. Every report we accept is credited in the Hall of Fame.
What to report
Two kinds of report help. Something the application does wrong, and something the translation gets wrong.
- Application bug
- The app crashes, freezes, refuses a file it should read, or a control does not do what it says.
- Name fused to a word
- A translated word runs into a name the app was meant to keep, and the two come back as one.
- Untranslated chunk
- Part of the text comes back in the source language while the rest is translated.
- Malformed word form
- A word comes back in a form that does not exist in the target language.
- Terminology drift
- One source term comes back several different ways inside the same document.
What a usable report contains
A report we can reproduce is a report we can fix. Six things make that possible.
- The application version and build.
- The model and effort tier you were on, Fast or Thinking.
- The source language and the target language.
- The text or the file type that triggered it.
- What the application produced.
- What you expected instead.

What you get
Three things, for every report we accept.
- A place in the Hall of Fame
- The display name you choose, on this page, with a link if you want one. Only if you tell us you want it.
- A free upgrade to version 2.0
- If version 2.0 is released, you get it at no cost. We name no date, no price and no feature set for it, because none is decided.
- Support priority
- In our Discord server you carry a contributor role. It marks you as someone who has already helped, and your messages are read ahead of the general queue. It is an order of attention, not a response time.
The rules
- A report is accepted when we can reproduce it from what you sent, when it is a defect rather than a preference, and when it is not already fixed in the build you are running.
- If two people report the same defect, the one that reaches us first is the one that is credited. We tell the second reporter that it is a duplicate.
- A defect we have already recorded is not accepted a second time. We say so when we reply.
- Every report we accept and credit in the Hall of Fame earns the version 2.0 upgrade.
- We can change these rules or end the program, for example if it is abused or if we can no longer keep up with it. A change is published here before it applies, and it covers only reports sent after that. What you were already granted stays granted, and an entry already listed stays listed.
Hall of Fame
You are listed only if you tell us you want to be, in the same conversation your report arrived in. Saying no changes nothing else: the upgrade and the Discord role are yours either way.
An entry carries the display name you choose, a link if you give us one, the class of the defect, the date we accepted it, and our internal report reference. Nothing else from that conversation is published: no message, no screenshot, no Discord name, no Instagram name, no email address, and no name you did not choose.
Ask in any of the three channels and the entry comes down with the next deploy. You can also send a formal request.
