Sending a data protection request
This page is the path for the rights listed in the privacy notice. It says where a request goes, what is needed to answer it, and how long the answer takes.
1. Where to send it
Send the request by email to the controller. Say in the message:
- which right you are exercising, in your own words if that is easier,
- what the request covers, for example a specific page, a cookie or a period,
- the address you want the answer sent to.
Requests go to: [email protected]
2. Confirming who you are
This site holds no account, so there is nothing to match a request against by default. If the controller has reasonable doubt about who sent a request, it may ask for more information, and it may ask only for what is needed to confirm your identity.
Do not send an identity document unless you are asked for one, and do not send more than the question needs.
3. How long it takes
The answer comes without undue delay and within one month of the request arriving. That month can be extended by two further months where the request is complex or where several requests arrive together. If it is extended, you are told within the first month and told why.
4. Cost
A request is free. A fee or a refusal is possible only where a request is manifestly unfounded or excessive, in particular where it repeats, and the controller has to show that it is.
5. If the request is refused
A refusal comes with reasons, within the same one month, together with the fact that you may complain to a supervisory authority and seek a judicial remedy.
6. Withdrawing analytics consent
Withdrawing consent needs no request. Cookie settings, in the footer of every page, reopens the notice, and rejecting there deletes the Google Analytics cookies for this site and stops the script from loading on later visits.
