This page lists every cookie bettertranslator.eu can store on your device, what each one does and how long it lasts. Nothing that needs your consent is stored before you give it.
How consent works here
Two cookies are needed for the site to do what you asked it to do: one records your cookie choice, the other remembers the language you picked. Both are set by bettertranslator.eu, are read by nobody else, and need no consent under Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive and Section 89(3) of Act No. 127/2005 Coll.
Everything else is analytics and stays off until you accept. Accepting loads Google Analytics. Rejecting, closing the notice and ignoring it all have the same result: no analytics script is loaded and no analytics cookie is written. You can change your mind at any time through Cookie settings, in the footer of every page.

The two Google durations are the lifetimes the browser actually stored when analytics was accepted on this build, measured with Chrome. Another browser can store a shorter one.
This table lists what the site itself sets. The site carries no advertising, retargeting or social media technology, no third party fonts, no embedded video and no fingerprinting.
Transfers outside the European Union
When analytics is on, your browser sends requests to googletagmanager.com and to google-analytics.com. Both are operated by Google, and the data can be processed on servers outside the European Economic Area. Rejecting analytics stops those requests. Separately, this site is delivered through Cloudflare’s network, so your address reaches Cloudflare on every visit whatever you choose; Cloudflare sets no cookie here. Both companies rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and keep the standard contractual clauses as a second basis. The privacy notice gives the detail.
Changing or withdrawing your choice
Cookie settings, in the footer of every page and on this page, reopens the notice. Rejecting there deletes the Google Analytics cookies for this site and stops the analytics script from loading on later visits. Withdrawing takes exactly as many clicks as accepting took.
